Mike Pigott is a founding partner at 25-year-old McNeely Pigott & Fox, which is Tennessee’s largest public relations company. The firm employs 65 people and has about 80 clients nationwide. Its services include media relations, strategic planning, graphic design, advertising, market research and public affairs. Pigott’s clients include the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Electric Service, the Nashville Airport Authority, Skanska Construction, The Grove, The Tennessean and Fan Freedom. Before joining MP&F, the Cleveland native and Purdue University graduate was an award-winning investigative reporter and political editor for the Nashville Banner for 13 years. He has also served as communications director for Phil Bredesen when he successfully ran for mayor of Nashville twice and when he ran for governor in 1994. He was a communications consultant to Nashville Mayor Karl Dean’s first campaign for that position. He has been married to Sharon McRedmond Pigott of Nashville for 36 years and has three adult daughters. Pigott serves on advisory boards for Hands On Nashville, Safe Haven Family Shelter and the Nashville YMCA.
