J.D. Hartwig

D was a high school athlete who needed an athletic outlet after graduating and going to college. Through his college years and after, CrossFit was his primary training method for all his athletic accomplishments, including obstacle racing, marathons, triathlons, weightlifting, and even riding his bike across the country. While CrossFit definitely prepared him for all his endeavors, he eventually realized that learning to move well and properly (before strength and intensity) is the key to remaining injury-free and fit for life. Today, he’s passionate about the journey — from teaching people to move well and master technique to seeing people reach their fitness goals and even become elite level athletes.
