To organically increase the clients search visibility using video content.
The challenge for local businesses is to make viable decisions on how to spend their marketing dollar on search-engine optimization, while the challenge for Talkapolis was to increase the visibility of our clients' products and services using video. Google has released a new algorithm to provide a more useful, relevant, and accurate local search result that is more tied to traditional web search ranking signals. This does impact local search results rankings, and some local businesses may notice an increase or decrease in website referrals, leads, and business from the change.
TalkApolis has successfully introduced an organic search optimization product. TalkApolis clients are invited to participate in the Nashville’s Best program, a video production that is directly about the client’s business. Google tends to rank and take preference to video for a number of reasons; one of which is that Google owns Youtube. With the TalkApolis system we are able to gain maximum views, likes, and shares naturally; effectively causing a buzz or spike on the web about a client's business. This activity is recognized by Google and the video shoots up the rankings using Google's own algorithms. The online consumer is growing resentful to payed-promotion of businesses in the Google search, and has a tendency to trust the business that has been ranked highly without the 'Sponsored Ad' label. We have learnt that the consumer is more likely to click and watch a video about a business rather than spend time reading all the relevant text.
Google overwhelmingly leant towards our video content, and constantly ranked the Nashville'e Best program and participants 1st on the video tab, and often Top 3 in the overall non-paid 'organic' searches.
